About

Hi!

Thank you so much for visiting my little piece of the Internet. My name is Joci (pronounced Joshy). I'm a mom of two and wife to my high school sweetheart of 8 years. I'm a grandma at heart, obsessed crafter, and coffee enthusiast. I love to create all the things, but a couple things I love to create the most are embroidered items (especially cute sweaters) and coffee cups! My love for coffee runs deep- it's a love language for me. Nothing beats that first sip in the morning. Instant serotonin. I also am a firm believer that the cup you drink any beverage from matters, which is why I strive to create the cutest cups!

I fell in love with embroidery in the summer of 2022 when I needed something to do on a road trip to Duluth, MN. I found a cross stitch kit at a local craft store that was cute and decided I was going to make it as a gift for my nephew who was about to be born. I loved that project and decided to look on Instagram and Pinterest for more ideas and found embroidery which looked even more fun and beautiful. While doom scrolling on Instagram one night, I saw that an embroidery artist was hosting a free online embroidery workshop. I signed up the night before it started, ran to Hobby Lobby the next day, found all the supplies, came home that night after work and bedtime routines, and started the workshop. To be honest, I thought I'd hate it. But, that was not the case at all. I became instantly hooked! I couldn't get enough and wanted to embroider all. the. things. I started out just embroidering cute patterns on hoops, but then I saw on Pinterest an embroidered name sweater. I knew I had to make a couple for my kids for Christmas and that's how the embroidery part of my business started. My husband then on Black Friday bought me a Cricut machine so I could do more embroidery projects because he saw how much I loved it. Well, I saw all these cute vinyl designed cups and wanted to make myself one. So again, I bought all the supplies and through trial and error finally figured out how to make them. Many family members complimented the sweaters and some friends even bought sweaters and cups- which led me to starting my business!

Thank you so much for being here! I hope you find something you love or leave feeling encouraged to create.

xoxo
