Hi all!!
This is my very first blog post! I love writing, so I'm surprised it's taken me this long to write something. I hope to continue with blog posts, but I think we all know how that goes. Life happens and some things get pushed to the back burner. My business is usually the thing that gets pushed to the back burner, especially during the summer because I like to pack it full to the brim and make memories with my family :) I am actually putting the final touches together for the family trip we are taking this week to SD! We try to plan at least one family "vacation" (let's be real, it's not a vacation haha) in the summer. Last summer we went to Yellowstone and had a blast! My favorite thing to bring on road trips is my embroidery. It is the perfect thing to keep your hands busy in the car (when you're not passing snacks back to the kids) so you're not just doom scrolling on your phone all the way to your destination which puts you in a bad mood.
I made a little beginner embroidery guide for those that are new to embroidery, so it takes the guesswork out of what you need to get started. I linked all my favorite items in the guide that I actually use. I am also going to use this in the classes that I teach because it has some really great information in it! It's probably a little wordy, but that's what I do best since I like to over-explain haha
